1. What does a desk at The Hive include?

If you are booking a hotdesk, you will have use of the desk and chair. We do not supply monitors at this time but you are welcome to bring your own monitor to use.

If you have a permanent desk, you will have use of the desk and chair and will be able to bring and store your own monitor at The Hive*.

2. What’s the procedure for booking a space?

If you would like to discuss booking a hotdesk or opting for a permanent desk in our office space, please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we can take the process from there.

3. Can I just pop by or should I make an appointment?

If you would like to take a look around or come in to discuss booking a hotdesk or a permanent place in our shared office space, please get in touch beforehand to check our availability and we can arrange a time to meet.

4. How do I book a meeting room?

The meeting room is bookable separately from the desks in the shared office space. Please get in touch with your date, time and any requirements and we will let you know the availability and what we can offer.

5. How do I book my guests in?

Please give us notice in advance if you have any guests coming to visit the office space. Just so we can double check the bookings that day and to ensure the office is not overcrowded!

6. Are utilities included?

All utilities are included in the costs of any of the pricing packages. You pay for the desk and that’s it!

7. Can I get a phone line for my desk?

Nope, we don't offer phone services at the present.

8. What is the deposit cost and charge for the desks?

There isn't a deposit for our hotdesks or permanent desks. The cost of the desk space is on a monthly basis and we will take your full payment at the start of the month via our online system.

9. I no longer need the desk, what’s your cancellation policy?

One month's notice is all we ask.

10. How do I pay for my desk?

Payment are made via Go Cardless as a direct debit payment. 

Once your first booking is confirmed, we will add you to the system and go through how it all works with you.

11. Is tea and coffee provided?

The best perk of them all! We supply tea bags, coffee and milk and keep it all stocked at no extra cost to you.

12. What industries are the people who work at The Hive in?

We are a coworking space focussed on creative individuals, startups and businesses. Whether that is web design and development or a freelance photographer, we have created the perfect office space to help inspire you and meet others in your industry.

13. Would I be able to make outbound sales calls?

Any behaviour such as relentless sales calls won’t be allowed in The Hive. This would be too much of an annoyance to other desk users.

We understand phone calls will need to be made and that’s okay. You will just need to take others into consideration and not push the anti-social boundaries.

14. Do I need insurance?

The Hive coworking space will be a secured office with limited access and CCTV outside the office space. However, you are liable for your own property and The Hive cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise.

15. Can I register my company to the address?

If you have a permanent desk at The Hive you are more than welcome to register to our Bude office address.

16. Can I print and scan?

We do not have facilities for printing and scanning at The Hive currently.

Flexible plans

Our plans are completely flexible and can be tailored to your needs.
We have plans ranging from two hotdesk days per week up to the full five day permanent desk package.
